Kate Dodson Strain founded the firm in 2019 bringing a thorough knowledge of trademark, franchise, and business law acquired over 16 years first at a large regional firm, Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. and then at Belzer PC, an intellectual property boutique firm. Kate has handled many trademark and other intellectual property matters at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as in the state and federal courts. Not only has she filed and successfully obtained hundreds of trademark registrations for clients all over the US, she also filed many foreign trademark applications and has worked with attorneys all over the world to obtain trademark protection for clients in other countries. Kate has filed many copyright applications at the US Copyright Office.
